The 2019 Max Burnet COTS Lunch is to be held at Club York, NSW Bowlers Club, Level 1, 95-99 York Street, Sydney on Friday 8 November 2019 commencing at 12 noon. Tickets $75.00 per head which includes a 3 course lunch (alcohol available at club prices).

Guest speaker for 2019 will be Neville Roach AO.  Neville Roach has had a distinguished career in the ICT industry with IBM from 1965-1980, then with Fujitsu from 1980-2004 & Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) from 2005 to present day.  In his talk, he will reflect on his career & the evolution, qualities, culture and imapct on the industry in Australia and globally of each of the companies for which he has worked.  He was Chairman of the Australian Information Industries Association from 1994-1996 & President of the Asia Oceania Computing Industry Organisation in 1998 and 1999.  He has had a strong and active interest in Education (at both University and TAFE levels) and in Research and Development.  He has chaired or been a member of several Federal and State Government committes and public and private sector boards.  He was Founding Chairman of National ICT Australia (NICTA).  His contribution has been recognised in numberous ways including his Order of Australia (AO) in 2000, his Pearcy Medal in 2008 and his contribution to the profession by his Fellowship of the ACS.
